ESTATE CHATZIGEORGIOU

Estate Chatzigeorgiou was founded in the beginning of the 50’s by Vasilis Chatzigeorgiou, pioneer cultivator and visionary, who through private redevelopment accumulated an undivided land of 185 acres in the region of Kariani, Kavala. Utilizing the area’s potential for viticulture, one of the first systematic vineyards was established using Greek and French varieties. Thereafter, his son Nikolas Chatzigeorgiou took responsibility for the management of the estate, and proceeded by restructuring the vineyard for modern cultivatory methods and the harmonious synergy of the estate with the environment.
In 2006 Vasilis Chatzigeorgiou the youngest, initiated the creation of a modern visitworthy winery with the sole intention of producing quality wines. Within the private vineyards of the estate the varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet, and Merlot are produced, comprising the three labels of the estate.
